Climate Change Awareness

Activism through Art to promote awareness and action in protection of our planet.

The project intends to create a platform where science and art comes together to deliver important information about the state of crisis we live in.

Through music and interdisciplinary collaborations, the project aims to create of collection of sound-artworks that move and inspire the public opinion about action and solutions available to counter the effects of global warming.


The first event was held on May 27th, 2023 and titled Earth Protectors.

Involved artists were photographer and film-maker Anne de Carbuccia with her movie One Ocean, composer Brian Field and pianist Francesca Khalifa for the performance of Tree passions for our tortured planet.

To follow, a panel discussion was moderated by journalist George Grella with Dr. Brenda Ekwurzel (Union of Concerned Scientists), Dr. Andrew Kruczkiewicz (Columbia's Earth Institute), Brian Field, Francesca Khalifa.


The second installment of the project is a reflection on the power of permaculture and is developed around the experience of Khalifa as artist in redience at Sanctuary Slimane in Marrakech, Morocco. The project is a collaboration with compoer Brian Field.
